Seven Russian soldiers were killed in a brawl in Russia's region of Dagestan in the northern Caucasus on Tuesday. A soldier, in a Russian special forces unit based in the southern city of Derbent, committed what is known as fragging, when he turned on six of his fellow soldiers, killing them and being killed himself in the incident, according to Russia's RIA Novosti news agency. No information was made available as to the soldier's identity or his motive. The peculiar incident is the first of its kind, amid tensions which have recently seen a dramatic rise between Russian forces and rebel fighters in the mostly Muslim-inhabited region
