Egypt stocks slip 0.7 pct early Thursday

Egyptian stocks are seeing sluggish trade on Thursday, the benchmark EGX30 down 0.8 per cent at 4,953.7 per cent after a power cut forced a delay in opening. The broader EGX70 is also trading down 0.7 per cent. A two-hour power outage on Thursday morning affected services across the capital, including trading screens at the downtown Stock Exchange. The Bourse opened an hour late when its emergency power generator failed to work.
