EgyptAir says received its fourth Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner
Published in Amwal Al Ghad on 02 - 07 - 2019

State-owned flagship, airliner EgyptAir said on Monday it has received its fourth Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner as part of a massive $6 billion deal to modernize its fleet.
According to an official statement, EgyptAir said the new fourth Dreamliner will fly to Paris, France as part of the beginning of operations.
The new plane is one of six B787-9 Dreamliners, where Egypt is set to receive its fifth and sixth planes this month.
The aircrafts will operate to Washington, Frankfurt, Paris, Kuwait, Dubai, and other routes, the statement said.
EgyptAir said the new aircrafts will provide the airliner a competitive advantage in operating this line, since this type of aircraft offers a wide range of technology, comfort and luxury.
The 787-9 Dreamliner can seat up to 309 passengers, divided into 30 Diamond Super-Full-Flat Beds in business class and 279 in economy class.
The aircraft is part of a $6 billion upgrade plan by the national carrier to acquire 45 new planes from different companies, in what Egyptair describes as the largest-ever deal made by the company.
The deal includes buying six new Dreamliners, the first two of which arrived this spring, and the third in June.
