Tourism Development Authority will pose a tender to construct solar power plant in Marsa Alam next month, with Euro1.5 million investing costs. Tarek Saad El Din, CEO of Tourism Development Authority (TDA), said the authority is preparing the technical specifications to pose tender for constructing the plant, which is the first solar power plant in Marsa Alam aims at serving the resort and hotels, furthermore, depending on the solar power rather than diesel in order to generate electricity. The CEO elucidated that the authority has met with Egypt's New and Renewable Energy Authority (NREA) so as to write a balanced tender specifications, to immediately pose the tender.
