City Edge Developments participates in France's MIPIM 2019

City Edge Developments (CED) is taking part to MIPIM, the world's leading property market in France's Cannes, to showcase its mega projects in Egypt from March 12 to 15.
CED's participation in MIPIM is part of its ongoing strategy of attracting foreign investors to its premium-quality residential and mixed-use projects including, but not limited to, clubs, business and administrative premises, as well as, healthcare, hospitality, and educational developments, according to the company's statement on March 11.
For the first time, Egypt shall be taking part in this prominent event with a pavilion, among 100 countries, 5,400 investors, more than 1,000 real estate projects, and about 1,300 local and international decision-makers.
On the sidelines of the show, CED will take part in six seminars among the leading minds in the global real estate sector to promote the Egyptian market's major projects. The Egypt-based company is keen to gather insights regarding the international expectations/standards to be able to set a solid plan to exporting Egyptian real estate properties abroad, which will contribute to increasing the hard currency.
In November 2018, the property developer has participated in London's Egypt Property Show (EPS), the first Egyptian real estate global roadshow featuring premium development from Egypt's top developers, as part of its marketing plan to export real estate abroad.
"Real estate development is a growing sector in the Egyptian market now and is witnessing the establishment of many mega projects to meet the needs of the Egyptian community on one hand and attract many Arab and foreign companies and businessmen on the other. Thus, promoting for the Egyptian real estate property abroad is the goal to which international events is the Way," Chairman of CED Mohamed El Alfy stated.
On his part, CEO of CED Amr El Kady said, "During 2018, and as part of our expansion plan, we have taken part in international real state exhibitions in UAE, and have appointed a team in the UK to promote for our products in Europe, another team in UAE to do the same mission in the Middle East, and the third team in Nigeria assigned for our marketing in Africa."
"As for MIPIM in particular, representatives of our different BU Heads (marketing, architecture, planning, etc.) shall be heading to the conference as well to meet their counterparts from the various participating countries and exchange experience that would be positively reflected in our mega projects in Egypt," El Kady added.
Launched in 1990, MIPIM is a four-day event where the most influential players from all sectors of the international real estate industry meet, with a plan to host 26,000 participants this year, including investors, local authorities of the participating countries, hospitality service representatives, decision-makers of industrial and logistics sectors, and real estate professionals.
MIPIM's 2019 theme is "Engaging the Future," and the participants would share their visions on how real estate industry would work over the next 30 years to have a positive impact on fostering peoples' quality life.
