Qatari and Egyptian businessman are meeting in Doha today to set up a QatariEgyptian Business Council. The meeting is being held under the patronage of the Prime Minister and Foreign Minister H E Sheikh Hamad bin Jassem bin Jabor bin Al Thani, Al Sharq daily reported. The meeting to be chaired by Ahmad Al Wakil, head of the Egyptian Chamber of Commerce, and Sheikh Khalifa bin Jassim Al Thani, Head of the Qatari Chamber of Commerce (QCCI), is expected to appoint members of the board of directors of this forum. The QatariEgyptian Business Council will have a significant role in strengthening economic relations between Qatar and Egypt, starting immediately with the launch in the coming few days of a conference where businessmen and companies from both countries will ways to invest.
