Chinese CSCEC able to build world-class projects in Egypt's new capital
Published in Amwal Al Ghad on 05 - 11 - 2018

Egyptian Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouly expressed on Sunday his optimism that China State Construction Engineering Corporation (CSCEC) will be able to carry out world-class projects in Egypt's New Administrative Capital City.
As China's largest construction and real estate conglomerate and biggest building work contractor, CSCEC was contracted to build the Central Business District (CBD) in the New Administrative Capital with the highest ever skyscraper in Africa.
Madbouly, speaking on the sidelines of his participation in China's first International Import Expo, said President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi is personally following up progress rates of all projects in the new capital.
He said the time factor is very important and all projects, whether carried out by Chinese or Egyptian companies, should be implemented on time.
Chief Executive of the Chinese company Juan King expressed his gratitude to the Egyptian government for its support and trust.
He said the company plans to let Egypt usher into a brand-new era to compete with other modernised countries in the world. Once completed, Egypt will have a world-class CBD and the highest skyscraper in Africa.
He promised there will be no delay in the implementation of the CBD, saying Chinese experts will be sent to Egypt within days to train 10,000 Egyptian workers.
Those workers will be trained to be experienced enough to carry out all construction works needed in the new capital.
The company will build housing units for those workers at its expense in Badr City, he added.
The CBD will be built on an area of approximately half a square kilometer. It will include 12 business complexes, five residential buildings, two hotels and a 345-meter high skyscraper, which will be the tallest building in Africa.
