Egyptian Company for Integrated Contracting (ECIC) targets total business volume of more than 400 million Egyptian pounds ($22.7 million) within the first quarter of 2018, vice-chairman Mohamed Abdel Raouf Hussein said Thursday. "The company competes for a number of infrastructure projects, which are being launched in the local market," Hussein further added. In addition, the official referred that ECIC seeks to attain a share in the ongoing infrastructure projects in the Egyptian cities of New Administrative Capital, some 40km (24.5 miles) to the east of Cairo, and New El Alamein, northwest of Cairo, within the upcoming two months. "This comes as part of the company's scheme to increase its business volume and carry out the state's national flagships," Hussein noted. Moreover, Hussein elaborated that his company has been mandated to execute two road projects, at lengths of 18km as well as a bunch of new infrastructure works in Obour City, 35km (21.7 miles) northeast of Cairo. "The two projects (roads and infrastructure) will be completely delivered within a timeframe of six months," he said.
