EGX 30 Closes at 4708 Pts, EFG-Hermes 2.45% Up; Tuesday

During Tuesday closing session, the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) has posted gains of 1.17 billion as the capital market has amounted to EGP 336.443 billion.
The main index, EGX30 went up 0.21% to end at 4708.5 p. EGX20 climbed 0.57% to close at 5415.64 p.
Meanwhile, the mid- and small-cap index, the EGX70 inched higher 0.29% to conclude at 419.28 p. Price index EGX100 edged up 0.41% to finish at 719.01 p.
Traded volume reached 82.379 million securities worth 281.984 million, exchanged through 17.348 thousand transactions.
This was after trading in 165 listed securities; 47 declined and 103 advanced while 15 keeping their previous levels.
Egyptians and Arabs were net buyers seizing 72.33% and 6.3% respectively, of the total markets, with a net equity of EGP 39.365 million and EGP 10.236 million excluding the deals.
On the other hand, the non-Arab Foreigners were net sellers seizing 21.37% of the total markets, with a net equity of EGP 49.601 million excluding the deals.
Leading Shares:
EGX's leading shares witnessed collective upwards except for shares of Commercial International Bank- Egypt (CIB) (COMI.CA) which sank by 0.73% to reach EGP 27.35 and of . shares of Talaat Moustafa Group (TMGH.CA) have went down by 0.25% to reach EGP 3.98.
Talaat Moustafa Group:
TMG shares poised Monday for the biggest drop since March 2011 after the panel of judges had recommended Sunday the annulment of a revised contract that allowed the government to sell a plot of land to Egypt's biggest publicly traded real estate developer for its Madinaty project.
EFG-Hermes Holding:
The shares of EFG-Hermes Holding (HRHO.CA) led EGX upwards as climbed to 2.45% to reach EGP 10.86. The trial of EFG-Hermes Holding SAE (HRHO.CA)'s co-Chief Executive Officers Hassan Heikal and Yasser El Mallawany on charges of market manipulation started Monday; the Court was adjourned until July 14.
Orascom Telecom Holding:
The shares owned by Orascom Telecom Holding (OTH) (ORTE.CA) inched higher 0.96% to reach EGP 3.15.
Orascom Telecom Media & Technology Holding:
The shares of Orascom Telecom Media & Technology Holding (OTMT.CA) edged up 0.65% to hit EGP 1.54.
Orascom Construction Industries:
Shares of Orascom Construction Industries (OCIC.CA) went up 0.23% to hit EGP 247.36.
