Egypt-owned Nile and Al-Ahram companies for consumer complexes eye achieving sales volume of 175 million Egyptian pounds (US$19.7 million) during Eid Al-Adha. Al-Ahram and Nile companies are affiliates of the Egyptian Food Industries Holding Company (FIHC). Speaking to Amwal Al Ghad Tuesday, Chairman of Al-Ahram and Nile companies, Adel El Khatib stated that the companies plan to boost their sales volume by 40 percent this year. He added that Al-Ahram company is expected to attain sales of 100 million pounds while Nile company is expected to obtain sales estimated at 75 million pounds during Eid Al-Adha. The chairperson noted that both firms are currently pumping more commodities and meats in all branches to get prepared for Eid Al-Adha.
