Egyptian property developer PACT announced on August 16th key partnerships with leading companies Cisco, Crystal Lagoons, Sites and Multiples Group to provide state of the art and comprehensive offerings in their North Coast flagship project White Bay in Sidi Heneish.
The press conference took places in the Four Seasons Hotel which was attended by managing directors of the companies, in the strategic alliance, discussed the significant benefits of the collaboration.
Speaking on the reasoning behind the alliance Mohamed Gamal President of PACT said "Real Estate developers are under significant pressure to provide highly personalized services and a higher quality of service to their customers. To compete effectively, next generation services that integrate a number of services for customers have become mandatory."
The strategic alliance between the illustrious companies brings to the table the long experience of the different partners to create important synergies for the development of a new age resort in line with "PACT's motto "new destinations for new generations."
In essence the partnership between PACT and leading industry experts brings together cutting-edge technology and service assurance. According to Gamal; "This allows us to deliver a unique service that is characterized by outstanding experience and value to our customers" He adds that "At PACT, we are committed to providing homes of the future. All of our homes are designed, by Wessam Architects, using cutting edge architecture designs and focused around the concept of smart homes. The future of homes will be defined by technology an idea that we intend to make a reality." To achieve this vision PACT has partnered their expertise with a number of illustrious firms such as Cisco for smart home and various other technological solutions.
"Cisco has been bringing state of the art infrastructure and home automation solutions globally and is now bringing this concept of smart homes to Egypt. To bring this to life, Cisco participated in the design consultancy phase for building various smart solutions in the compound," says Ayman Elgohary, General Manager, Cisco Egypt. He adds that "This model encompasses the implementation of the best technologies available at Cisco including: Cisco's leading Fibre to the Home (FTTH) solutions, IP surveillance and switching equipment, indoor and outdoor Wireless coverage, our top of the art Data Centre computing equipment, management services of the network, and to provide upskilling training to PACT's IT and engineering staff to provide them with the skills to operate the technologies Cisco is providing to PACT."
Essentially every home that PACT finishes will not only provide pre-paid electricity and water payment systems, but also allow owners to control any electricity powered appliance through a mobile application in addition to a number of services and facilities as a way to achieve overall efficient communities. While a strong belief in in becoming the leading Smart Community in the North Coast is a priority to PACT providing their residents and visitors with added benefits for everybody in the family, from beach for adults to water sports for teens comes a close second.
True to that vision PACT has teamed up with Crystal Lagoons, to further reinvent the iconic destination by bringing their state of the art technology to develop man-made lagoon with crystal-clear waters. The Crystal Lagoon, which will cover 14,000 square meters bringing around 300 Meters of sandy beaches and an expanse of crystal clear blue water based on the latest technology on offer with investment of value EGP 50 Million. Speaking on this Carlos Salas, Regional Director, Middle East, Crystal Lagoons said: "We have developed our patented technology and proven business model to provide the world's top amenity and in the process add significant value to any real estate project in the world. We look forward to working with Pact to deliver a unique leisure-centric destination while also contributing to real estate offering of White Bay." The scenic lagoon will be the centerpiece of the development with the elaborate water attraction set to include both daytime and nighttime entertainment elements.
PACT is also working closely with Multiples Group on the funding of the innovative project. According to the agreement Multiples Group will be contracting and financing phase 1 and part of phase 2 in "White Bay" with an estimate 325 Million EGP, through its contracting arm "Asass". To this Omar El-Shenety Managing Director Multiples Group comments that "Multiples Group owns and manages a range of real estate projects through its real estate and contracting arm "Asass". In considering such investment, we focus on integrating real estate projects through partnerships with landowners who contribute the land value, nothing exemplifies this strategy more than PACT's White Bay project in Sidi Heneish"
Apart from the above noted numerous elements, the 1.7 billion EGP White Bay Project , aptly named for its beautiful white sand beach is divided into 4 phases providing a total of 600 units surrounded by green spaces and open areas, representing about 85% of the total size of White Bay. The smart home community is set to deliver phase 1 by summer 2018.
