Egypt joins Arab Permanent Postal Commission in Sudan

A delegation from the Egyptian National Post Organisation (ENPO) is to take part in the meetings of Arab Permanent Postal Commission as well as the working group meetings.
According to a statement released Sunday by Egyptian ministry of communications and information technology (MCIT), Chairman of ENPO Essam El-Saghir will head the delegation.
The Arab Permanent Postal Commission will take part in Sudan from 20-24 December 2015.
The fifth meeting of the Congress Preparation Work Group will be held on December 20, while the fourth meeting of the Regulation and Postal Development Work Group will be on December 21.
The third joint meeting of Post and Customs Experts will be held on December 22, and the 30th Meeting of Arab Permanent Postal Commission will be on December 23-24.
Working group meetings are to address a number of issues including the preparations for the Universal Postal Union (UPU) Congress 2016 in Turkey and the preparation of draft proposals to be submitted during the said conference.
The meetings will also tackle means to develop postal services regionally and globally. A joint meeting is to be held to strengthen cooperation between postal and customs officials and follow up on implementing the recommendations of the working groups previous meetings and the decisions, and recommendations of the joint session of the meetings of UPU Council of Administration (CA) and Postal Operations Council (POC), the statement added.
Arab Permanent Postal Commission meeting will tackle a number of topics including the decisions and recommendations of the joint session of UPU CA and POC meetings that took place on October 24-November 13.
The meeting will also discuss the preparation of the topics to be presented to the Executive Bureau of the Arab ICT Council of Ministers in preparation for submission to the Arab ICT Council of Ministers. Also the position of the Arab countries of the final expenditures international system and the future of post in the Arab region over the next four years will be discussed as well during the meeting.
