Hilton Sharm Dreams Resort Welcomes New Director of Operations

Hilton Sharm Dreams Resort has announced the appointment of Sherif Darwish as Director of Operations for Hilton Dreams Resort in Sharm El Sheikh, South Sinai. Sherif was appointed by Magdy Metwally, General Manager of Hilton Sharm Dreams Resort, who commented, “Hilton Sharm Dreams Resort is happy to announce this new appointment and the entire team is looking forward to working with Sherif as he brings a fresh perspective to the senior management team as well as a wealth of expertise and hospitality experience."
Some of Darwish's new responsibilities include the contribution to the design implementation of the hotel's business and quality strategy, as well as taking a lead role in expediting various phases of the hotel's special projects, furniture fixtures and equipment, refurbishment and other projects within the hotel. This appointment also includes the overseeing of some of the key operations within the hotel like, Food and Beverage and Rooms Division departments.
Sherif Darwish was formerly Director of Operations at Hilton Hurghada Plaza and also acted as Operations Manager at Hilton Fayrouz Resort in Sharm El Sheikh. Metwally added: “As a member of the Hilton Worldwide team since 1996, Sherif will bring solid experience and an abundance of knowledge to the Hilton Sharm Dreams Resort team."
Sherif Darwish will be responsible for overseeing the resort's front desk team which recently set the bar for outstanding achievements and winning an award for surpassing targets for new memberships to the HHonors program. HHonors is one of the largest hotel loyalty programmes in the world with 30 million global members.
