Etisalat exclusively launches 4G LTE Wiko Ridge in UAE

UAE's leading telecom service provider Etisalat has collaborated with EMS for the exclusive launch of the smartphone manufacturer's latest flagship 4G LTE Wiko smartphone for mobile customers in the UAE - the slim and lightweight Wiko Ridge.
Wiko Ridge weighs 125 grams, sports a 5-inch IPS HD (720x1280p) display and runs on Android 4.4 KitKat OS. It comes with a Micro SD up to 64 GB, and equipped with 13 MP fixed-focus 4X digital zoom rear camera and 5 MP auto-focus front camera.
The new device is available for all customers on a standalone basis for AED799. Etisalat 's prepaid customers can alternatively buy the device for the same price, bundled with a free 1GB monthly data for the first three months (worth AED 297), after which a monthly charge of AED99 will apply for 1GB data.
Etisalat 's Wiko Ridge mobile customers will be able to enjoy speeds of up to 150Mbps on the telco's 4G LTE network, the widest in the UAE. The network covers nearly 90 percent of the country's populated regions.
Commenting on the launch, Khaled ElKhouly, Chief Marketing Officer at Etisalat , said, " Etisalat continues its leadership in the smartphone market in the UAE with the launch of the latest advanced smartphones, meeting needs of all customers segments through innovative options. Users can also monitor their data, voice and SMS usage as per subscribed postpaid bundles and pay their bills.
