The Chairman of Etisalat's Egypt arm Gamal El Sadat has been named the new head of the Egyptian-UAE Business Council as pursuant to the Egyptian industry minister's decree. Egypt's Minister Mounir Fakhry Abdel Nour announced on Sunday a decree to make a revamp on the Egyptian-UAE Business Council's board of directors for the Egyptian side. The new board members of the Egyptian- UAE Business Council (Egyptian part) currently include: 1- Ahmed Ismail Hassan - Regional Manager of National Bank of Abu Dhabi (NBAD-Egypt) 2- Nevine Loutfy - Managing Director and CEO of Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB-Egypt) 3- Ahmed Sadek El Sewedy - President and CEO of Elsewedy Electric 4- Mahmoud El Kaissy – Chairman of Medgenco International Trade Co 5- Abdel Hamid El Demerdash - Managing Director of Magrabi Agriculture 6- Ali Eissa – Chairman of Nahdet Misr Co. for Agro Industries 7- Ahmed Ali Helmy – Vice Chairman of Mobil El Shark for Furniture 8- Nassef Sawiris - CEO of Orascom Construction 9- Mohamed El Dahan - CEO of Emaar Misr 10- Mohamed Fathallah Fawzy - Executive Chairman of Mena for Touristic and Real Estate Investment 11- Riad Armanious – CEO of Eva Pharma 12- Hussam Leheta - Chairman & CEO of Egyptian Transport (Egytrans) 13- Ayman Badawy - Commercial Manager DP World Sokhna 14- Ibrahim Abou El Eyoun – Chairman of Assiut Chamber of Commerce 15- Azza Fahmy - Chairman of Azza Fahmy Jewellery 16- Yassin Mansour – Managing Director of Mansour Group 17- Sahar El Damati, Deputy Managing Director of Emirates NBD in Egypt Furthermore, the ministerial decree also stipulated that the Council shall submit a half-annual report to the Egyptian Ministry of Industry and Trade, involving its activities, future plans, and suggestions to develop the mutual interests for both countries.
