Egypt is in talks with the African Export-Import Bank (Afreximbank) to sign a cooperation agreement worth US$500 million, Egyptian trade minister Mounir Fakhry Abdel Nour announced. Abdel Nour said his ministry is targeting a financing worth US$500 million to support and facilitate Egyptian exports to penetrate into African markets. These remarks made during a meeting held by the Egyptian minister with a number of Afreximbank's representatives, aiming to develop joint cooperation.
