Egyptian Stocks Pare Early Gains, Close Mixed on Tuesday

Egypt's bourse pared early gains, yet it closed higher on Tuesday posting gains totalling 235 million Egyptian pounds. In addition, the country's main stock index, EGX30 ended in green above 9270 points.
Meanwhile, the Egyptian Exchange's indices were wavering in mixed notes during closing session of Tuesday.
Indices
Egypt's benchmark index EGX30 ended 0.40 per cent higher to 9274.09 pts; while EGX20 finished 0.68 per cent up to 1136.57 pts.
In addition, the mid- and small-cap index, the EGX70 slumped by 0.07 per cent to finish at 633.94 pts. The price index EGX100 dipped by 0.08 per cent to conclude at 1131.79 pts.
Furthermore, the market capitalization recorded EGP 512.563 billion on Tuesday.
Turnovers Exceed EGP One billion
Through the closing session of Tuesday, the trading volume has reached 233.914 million securities, with turnovers worth EGP 1.012 billion, exchanged through 31.605 transactions.
Also during the closing session, 188 listed securities have been traded in; 103 declined, 63 advanced; while 19 kept their previous levels.
Investors' Activities
Local and Arab investors were net sellers on Tuesday seizing 86.05% and 5.04% respectively of the total markets, with a net equity of EGP 37.005 million and EGP 19.199 million respectively, excluding the deals.
On the other hand, the non-Arab foreign investors were net buyers acquiring 8.92% of the total market, with a net equity of EGP 56.204 million, excluding the deals.
