The volume of investments in Franchise sector in the domestic market estimated at EGP80billion , Tarek Tawfik, Chairman of Egyptian Franchise Development Association (EFDA) said. Tawfik explained that despite the exceptional conditions which experienced by Egypt, EFDA will hold the 12 international fair of Franchise in its time in Cairo which is the largest Franchise fair in Middle East and North Africa for 40 days from 22to 25May with 50 participants in Egypt and 5 in foreign countries including U.S.A, - Malaysia - Greece - Italy - Germany. This major event which hosts investors in Europe and Middle East is a great opportunity to identify Egypt's various investments and put a spotlight on the available facilities in the Egyptian market, Tawfik asserted. The fair will also allow the domestic market an opportunity to expand across republic and also to expand globally through granting the right for investors who visit the fair to come from many regions. Meanwhile, African Development Bank financed US$40million for small and medium sized projects.
