Gold prices in Egypt rose modestly on Sunday, tracking global market movements despite softer domestic demand, data from official pricing platforms showed.
By 16:30 local time (14:30 GMT), 24-carat gold was trading at 6,617.25 Egyptian pounds per gram, up 23 pounds, or 0.35 per cent, from Thursday's close of 6,594.25 pounds. Other purities posted similar gains:
