Gold prices in Egypt edged lower on Sunday, falling 0.09–0.10 per cent across major purities, as local demand softened despite firming global bullion markets, according to official pricing platforms. As of 17:34 local time (15:34 GMT), 24-carat gold was quoted at 6,245.75 Egyptian pounds per gram, down 5.75 pounds from 6,251.50 pounds at the close on 20 Nov.
