Egypt signed on Tuesday an agreement to shift custody of seized gold from the Public Prosecution to the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE). Public Prosecutor Mohamed Shawky, CBE Governor Hassan Abdalla and Finance Minister Ahmed Kouchouk signed the handover document in the presence of Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouly. The step is part of broader efforts to tighten governance and improve management of recovered or confiscated valuables, the government said. Amwal Al Ghad English
