EGPC extends EUG platform contract with SLB for 3 years

The Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation (EGPC) signed a three-year extension to the Egypt Upstream Gateway (EUG) contract with SLB, including an additional $44 million in investments to further enhance and develop the platform.
Minister of Petroleum Karim Badawi witnessed the signing on Wednesday on the sidelines of the ADIPEC 2025 Conference and Exhibition in Abu Dhabi. The new phase is part of Egypt's efforts to strengthen digital investment gateways in exploration and production and to expand opportunities for international energy companies.
