The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) reaffirmed its commitment to education and sustainable development by taking part in the 2025 graduation ceremony of Zewail City of Science, Technology and Innovation, the central bank said in a statement on Sunday. The CBE was represented by Ghada Tawfik, Sub-Governor for Social Responsibility, alongside Zewail City Acting Executive President Wael Akl, banking sector representatives, faculty, parents, and graduates. The central bank said it has provided full scholarships for top-performing students in Zewail City's Schools of Science and Engineering, underscoring education as a priority in its social responsibility strategy. The CBE added that it is working with local banks to coordinate community development efforts, with a focus on high-impact sectors such as education, which it called "an investment in the future." It pledged to continue initiatives that deliver a "tangible and sustainable" impact, aligning with Egypt's Vision 2030 development strategy. Attribution: Amwal Al Ghad English
