Egypt's Cabinet approves MoU for power link studies with Greece

Egypt's Cabinet said on Wednesday it had approved a memorandum of understanding between the Egyptian Electricity Transmission Company (EETC), EuroAfrica Interconnector — an affiliate of Greece's Copelouzos Group — and Greece's Independent Power Transmission Operator (IPTO).
The agreement will allow the parties to carry out technical and feasibility studies for the planned electricity interconnection project linking Egypt and Greece.
