Egypt's Misr Insurance, part of the Sovereign Fund of Egypt (TSFE), signed a cooperation protocol with STM Investment to provide comprehensive insurance coverage for the company's real estate and investment projects, the Financial Regulatory Authority (FRA) said Sunday. The FRA, which oversaw the signing, said the agreement is designed to shield STM projects from potential risks, enhance their stability, and support sustainable development. The deal also stipulates that disputes, if any, will be referred to the Egyptian Centre for Arbitration and Settlement of Non-Banking Financial Disputes (ECAS). FRA Chairman Mohamed Farid said the partnership reflects a broader push to expand insurance coverage across Egypt's economic sectors, improve risk management, and accelerate financial inclusion. He added that such strategic collaborations between national entities strengthen the country's investment infrastructure and support the national economy. Attribution: Amwal Al Ghad English
