Egypt's digital transformation of the state budget and electronic integration with all government entities have enabled real-time decision-making to benefit citizens and investors, Walid Abdullah, Head of the Public Budget Sector has said. Speaking at a press conference held by Finance Minister Ahmed Kouchouk to announce the fiscal results for the past year, Abdullah said significant progress has been made in resolving financial entanglements among government bodies. Effective governance mechanisms have been implemented to enhance public spending in key sectors such as health and education, surpassing the overall pace of expenditure growth, he stated. Abdullah added that electronic integration has created alignment between revenues and expenditures, contributing to higher growth in public revenues without imposing additional burdens.
