Egypt's Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouly participated in the opening session of the 9th Tokyo International Conference on African Development (TICAD 9) in Yokohama on Wednesday, Japan, on behalf of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi. The opening session featured speeches by the Japanese Prime Minister, the President of Angola as Chair of the African Union, the UN Secretary-General, the Chairperson of the African Union Commission, a representative of the United Nations Development Programme, and a representative of the World Bank.
