Eng Maher Maksoud –Chief Executive Officer of the 6th of October Development and Investment company "SODIC"- revealed that his company has received a letter on Sunday, indicating the withdrawal of land plots number "16" in New Cairo, -an area of 850 thousand meters- and owned by SODIC's company “Sorrell", as this withdrawal happened according to the decision of cancelling the allocation and the contract, which was issued by Real Estate Committee in the Urban Communities Authority. Maksoud said that his company has presented a grievance to the urban communities, and it was referred to the Disputes Settlement Committee for consideration and judgment when, during a maximum period of 60 days. He added that his company had not carried out any constructional operations on the land till now, as it was affected by delays of administrative bodies represented in the authority of urban communities and New Cairo City authority, as these authorities have delayed the providing of facilities and the implementation of the obligations mentioned in the contract.
