Eng. Atef Helmy, Egyptian Minister of Information and Communication Technology (ICT), said the current phase is witnessing difficulty in applying the minimum and maximum wage due to lack of an updated database, noting that in the case of activating of the national project your digital identity 'using the national ID card in all social services" will not make the country will facing problems. The Minister has explained that the Ministry is aiming to form tripartite committee in collaboration with Ministry of State for Administrative Development ,Information Center and support the decision which is affiliated to the Cabinet so as to provide e-services basing on national ID databases for citizens. It is worth mentioning that the Egyptian Finance Minister, Dr. Ahmed Galal, called for the adoption of the national ID card as it is the only instrument for the exchange of wages and salaries to clarify databases regarding the wage of each employee in the administrative Development of the state and identify the maximum and minimum wages.
