Gold prices dip in midday trading on Wednesday

Spot gold prices dropped on Wednesday, 06 August 2025, at 11:42 pm GMT by 0.42 per cent to $3,366.75 per ounce, compared to its previous close of $3,380.86.
Meanwhile, US gold futures fell 0.39 per cent to $3,421.30 per ounce, down from Tuesday's closing price of $3,434.7.
