Germany and Egypt will hold their next round of intergovernmental development talks in the second half of the year, German Development Minister Reem Alabali-Radovan said Sunday, as the two countries aim to deepen cooperation across key sectors. Speaking during an official visit to Cairo, Alabali-Radovan said both sides had agreed to move forward with structured negotiations that will shape the next phase of bilateral development work. "We regularly coordinate with the Egyptian Ministry of International Cooperation, and today we agreed that the next government negotiations will take place in the second half of the year," she said. The minister added that a number of priority areas had already been discussed and would be jointly addressed, with concrete outcomes expected from the upcoming talks. Germany is one of Egypt's largest development partners, supporting projects in green energy, education, climate resilience, and sustainable infrastructure. Attribution: Amwal Al Ghad English
