Gold prices decreased on Tuesday due to higher US Treasury yields following US President Donald Trump's announcement of new tariff proposals on trading partners such as Japan and South Korea. Spot gold dropped 0.27 per cent to $3,327.63 per ounce by 12:47 GMT, up from $3,336.51 in the previous session.
