Eng. Atef Helmy, Egyptian Minister of Information and Communication Technology (ICT), and Major General Tariq Mahdi, the Governor of Alexandria have inaugurated many fresh projects in ICT sector in Alexandria. The Minister and The Chairman of Telecom Egypt (TE), Mr. Omar El Sheikh, have paid a visit for opening call center in Miami central . The new call center will provide many telecom services to citizens such as receiving applications for new lines and contracting to any place across governorates, in addition to the sale of telecom properties Tel ground, query and collect bills and provide telegraph and fax services as well as ADSL services throughout TE Data, the internet provider of TE Company. Helmy and Dr. Ashraf Gamal ElDin, Chairman of Board of Directors of Egyptian Post Authority have opened El Ibrahimeya Post Office and Camp Shizar, Alexandria Post Office after the continuation of updating and developing.
