Egypt Healthcare Authority (EHA) chairman Ahmed El Sobky held a meeting with Fulbright Egypt Executive Director Maggie Nassif to explore enhanced cooperation in education, training, and scientific exchange aimed at strengthening Egypt's Universal Health Insurance system. The discussions focused on offering scholarships and training opportunities for healthcare professionals in key areas including population health management, digital health systems, data analytics, and health policy and administration. The initiative aligns with the authority's focus on human capital development and improving service quality in line with global standards. The two sides also discussed bringing in US experts through Fulbright to lead training workshops and technical sessions on topics such as healthcare marketing, facility management, policy formulation, and collaborative research on diseases. El Sobky said this partnership would help boost innovation and resilience across Egypt's healthcare system. They also agreed to expand promotion of the Hubert H. Humphrey Fellowship on the authority's digital platforms and to develop tailored training programmes to prepare staff for international scholarships and improve their engagement with global institutions.
