Etisal has recalled several Anker power bank models in Egypt due to a manufacturing defect that could lead to overheating, melting, or explosion. The fault stems from welding issues in internal components, posing a serious safety risk. The affected models are: * A1257 (10,000mAh, 22.5W) * A1689 (20,000mAh, 30W, with built-in USB-C) * A1647 (20,000mAh, 22.5W, with built-in USB-C) * A1652 (10,000mAh, 7.5W, MagGo) The Egyptian Consumer Protection Agency (CPA) urged consumers to stop using the products immediately and contact Etisal at 15599 for a free refund or replacement. The recall complies with Law No. 181 of 2018 on product safety and quality. Authorities will continue to monitor the situation and ensure the company's full compliance with safety standards.
