Serbia sees Egypt as a strategic partner and a vital gateway to both Africa and the Middle East, said the Vice President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Serbia (CCIS), during the Egypt-Serbia Business Forum, an official statement said. On behalf of the Chamber's President Marko Cadez, the VP praised the Egyptian government's efforts in organising the forum, which was attended by Egyptian Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouly and his Serbian counterpart Duro Macut. CCIS VP emphasised Serbia's commitment to deepening economic and commercial cooperation with Egypt, particularly in light of the Free Trade Agreement between the two countries. He also highlighted Egypt's position as the second-largest economy in Africa and a major trade corridor, making it an ideal partner for Serbia's regional outreach.
