The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) closed in the green area on Tuesday, with the main index, EGX30 going up by 0.09 per cent, to 32,355.41 points. The Shariah index, EGX33 advanced 0.36 per cent to 3,378.97 points. The SMEs index, EGX70 rose by 1.12 per cent, to 9,694.27 points. The index, EGX100 index added 0.76 per cent, to 13,120.81 points. The total market capitalisation reached 2,292,575,111,176 Egyptian pounds. Non-Arab foreigners were net buyers with a total of 14,495,816,555 Egyptian pounds. Meanwhile, Egyptians and Arabs were net sellers with 11,520,359,341 Egyptian pounds, and 2,975,457,214 Egyptian pounds, respectively. Top gainers 1. Shares of Certificates of Odin Egyptian Equity Investment Fund-KASAB climbed by 20.00 per cent, to close at 1.200 Egyptian pounds a share. 2. Shares of South Valley Cement jumped by 15.04 per cent, to close at 5.660 Egyptian pounds a share. 3. Shares of El Ezz Porcelain (Gemma) surged by 15.03 per cent, to close at the price of 30.000 Egyptian pounds a share. Top losers 1. Shares of Copper for Commercial Investment and Real Estate Development sank by 8.69 per cent, to close at the price of 0.662 Egyptian pounds a share. 2. Shares of Upper Egypt Flour Mills dived by 7.61 per cent, to trade at the price of 477.250 Egyptian pounds a share. 3.
