Egypt's CBE issues EGP 80b in T-bills

The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE), in coordination with the Ministry of Finance, is offering 80 billion Egyptian pounds in treasury bills (T-bills) on Tuesday.
The auction is conducted in two tranches: 182-day T-bills worth 40 billion Egyptian pounds, maturing on 09/12/2025, and 357-day T-bills worth 40 billion Egyptian pounds, maturing on 02/06/2026, as stated in the announcement.
Treasury bills are short-term government debt instruments with maturities ranging from three months to a year.
