Cairo ICT Event to Hold With No Delay Despite Turmoil

Multiple official sources in Cairo ICT Trade Fairs and Forum scheduled to hold its new conference next September in anxious Egypt, said till now there are no notifications declared about changing the time of the event, pointing out that Trade Fairs will announce the new schedule if such a delay is decided.
The sources added that Trade Affairs is currently discussing the repercussions of the recently-imposed curfew and of the ongoing political unrest so as to decide whether to delay or hold the conference on time next September.
The sources have emphasized that they did not yet receive any reactions from the foreign participants regarding the date or the place of conference as its place is near from the political unrest.
It is scheduled for the exhibition to comprise investment and business, with the participation of the largest banks, insurance companies and brokerage firms to discuss some vital issues of this sector in the light of the transformation witnessed in the region towards Islamic transactions in banks ,insurance and stock market companies in order to support the image of the Egyptian financial sector and link it with other sectors.
It is worth mentioning that Cairo ICT is the yearly international telecommunication, information technology, networking, satellite and media Trade Fair and Forum - one of the largest in the domain of technology and its applications in the Middle East and North Africa.
