Egyptian pound closes high vs. dollar on Thursday

The Egyptian pound (EGP) appreciated against the US dollar (USD) on Thursday, 29 May 2025, according to data from the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE).
The CBE reported an average buying rate of EGP 49.6983 per dollar and a selling rate of EGP 49.7983, compared to Wednesday's rates of EGP 49.7511 and EGP 49.8511, respectively.
