Egypt will observe a five-day public holiday from June 5 to June 9 in celebration of Eid al-Adha, one of the most important religious festivals in the Muslim calendar, according to a Cabinet statement on Thursday. Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouly's decision grants paid time off for employees across government ministries, public authorities, local administration units, state-owned companies, and public sector firms.
