EGP ticks higher against USD at Thursday's close – CBE

The Egyptian pound (EGP) rose against the US dollar (USD) on Thursday, May 8, 2025, according to data from the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE).
The CBE reported an average buying rate of EGP 50.5720 per dollar and a selling rate of EGP 50.6710, compared to Wednesday's rates of EGP 50.5922 and EGP 50.6922, respectively.
