Egypt has strongly condemned the Israeli airstrikes on Gaza in the early hours of Tuesday, which have so far claimed the lives of more than 300 Palestinians, mostly women and children. In a statement on Tuesday, the Egyptian Foreign Ministry described the attacks as a blatant violation of the ceasefire agreement and a dangerous escalation that threatens regional stability. Egypt reaffirmed its rejection of all Israeli actions aimed at reigniting tensions and undermining efforts to restore calm. The statement urged the international community to intervene immediately to halt the assault on Gaza and prevent the region from descending into another cycle of violence.
