Egypt's Foreign Minister Badr Abdel Aty held a series of phone calls with the foreign ministers of the Arab-Islamic Ministerial Committee member states, including Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Jordan, Qatar, Palestine, Turkey, Nigeria, and Indonesia. The discussions aimed to align positions on advancing the Arab-Islamic plan for early recovery and reconstruction of Gaza, in line with the outcomes of the Extraordinary Arab summit in Cairo on March 4 and the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) ministerial meeting in Jeddah on March 7. Abdel Aty and his counterparts explored ways to coordinate efforts in promoting the plan, activating the committee's role, and engaging with international stakeholders to mobilise political and financial support. The talks also covered the implementation of the summit's resolutions and preparations for the upcoming Cairo international conference on Gaza reconstruction.
