President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi convened a meeting on Monday with Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouly and Minister of Housing Sherif El-Sherbiny to discuss the latest housing initiatives aimed at supporting low- and middle-income Egyptians. During the meeting, President El-Sisi instructed that a collective offering of 400,000 housing units be initiated, with a focus on providing affordable housing for low- and middle-income groups, as well as for above-average and luxury housing segments. The president urged for this initiative to be launched as quickly as possible. The president also praised the ongoing housing projects being led by the Ministry of Housing, including notable initiatives like the Sakan Misr, Diarna and Zelal projects, highlighting their importance in addressing the country's housing needs. The government's push to expand access to affordable housing is part of Egypt's broader strategy to meet the demands of its growing population while promoting inclusive development.
