Egypt's stock market (EGX) closed in mixed on Tuesday. The main index, EGX30 went down by 0.50 per cent, to 30,619.96 points. The Shariah index, EGX33 sunk by 1.14 per cent to 3,151.24 points. The SMEs index, EGX70 jumped by 0.08 per cent, to 7,923.25 points. The index, EGX100 index dropped by 0.14 per cent, to 11,109.72 points. The total market cap reached 2,203,354,181,296 Egyptian pounds. The Egyptian and Arabs were net sellers with 535,731,446 Egyptian pounds, and 657,144,890 Egyptian pounds, respectively. Meanwhile, The Non-Arab Foreigners were net sellers with a total of 1,192,876,336 Egyptian pounds.
Top gainers on Tuesday 1. Sabaa International Company For Pharmaceutical and Chemical (SIPC.CA) shares climbed by 19.49 per cent, to close at 1.410 Egyptian pounds a share. 2. Digitise for Investment And Technology (DGTZ.CA) shares jumped by 13.64 per cent, to close at 2.500 Egyptian pounds a share. 3. Gharbia Islamic Housing Development (GIHD.CA) shares surged by 9.17 per cent, to close at the price of 25.240 Egyptian pounds a share. Top losers on Tuesday 1. El-Nile Co. For Pharmaceuticals And Chemical Industries–Nile1 (NIPH_r1.CA) shares declined by 8.71 per cent, to close at the price of 38.460 Egyptian pounds a share. 2. El-Nile Co. For Pharmaceuticals And Chemical Industries (NIPH.CA) shares fell by 6.07 per cent, to trade at the price of 58.170 Egyptian pounds a share. 3.
