EGX closes in red area on Oct 17th

Egypt's stock market (EGX) closed in the red area on Thursday.
The main index, EGX30 went down by 1.31 per cent, to 30,143.86 points.
The Shariah index, EGX33, sunk by 1.04 per cent to 3,152.48 points.
The small to mid-size enterprises' index, EGX70 fell by 0.28 per cent, to 7,667.8 points.
The index, EGX100 index dropped by 0.71 per cent, to 10,779.27 points.
The total market cap reached 2,155,408,987,952 Egyptian pounds.
The Arabs and Non-Arab Foreigners were net buyers with a total of 396,124,337 Egyptian pounds, and 9,526,879,676 Egyptian pounds, respectively. On the other hand, the Egyptians were sellers with 9,923,004,013 Egyptian pounds.
Risers on Thursday
1. Arabian Food Industries DOMTY (DOMT.CA) shares rose by 19.97 per cent, to close at the price of 25.950 Egyptian pounds a share.
2. Raya Holding For Financial Investments (RAYA.CA) shares climbed by 12.79 per cent, to trade at the price of 3.440 Egyptian pounds a share.
3. Osool ESB Securities Brokerage (EBSC.CA) shares jumped by 12.57 per cent, to the purchasing price of 0.627 Egyptian pounds a share.
Fallers on Thursday
1. Juhayna Food Industries (JUFO.CA) shares fell by 11.52 per cent, to close at 31.030 Egyptian pounds a share.
2. Alexandria New Medical Center (AMES.CA) shares declined by 6.80 per cent, to close at 21.110 Egyptian pounds a share.
3. Cairo Poultry (POUL.CA) shares dropped by 6.57 per cent, to close at the price of 12.510 Egyptian pounds a share.
