EGX closes mixed on August 21

Egypt's stock market (EGX) closed mixed on Wednesday. The main index, EGX30 was flat, at 29,914.29 points.
The Shariah index, EGX33, sunk by 0.69 per cent, to 2,852.54 points.
The small to mid-size enterprises' index, EGX70 surged by 0.44 per cent, to 6,851.02 points.
The index, EGX100 index climbed by 0.26 per cent, to 9,828.82 points.
The total market cap reached 2,066,056,662,294 Egyptian pound.
The Egyptians and Arabs were net sellers with a total of 6,994,348,020 Egyptian pound and 155,638,966 Egyptian pound, respectively. Meanwhile, the and Non-Arab Foreigners were net buyers with total of 7,149,986,986 Egyptian pound.
Top gainers on Wednesday
1. The shares of Sinai Cement (SCEM.CA) rose by 19.99 per cent, to close at the price of 37.690 Egyptian pound a share.
2. The shares of Extracted Oils (ZEOT.CA) climbed by 19.69 per cent, to trade at the price of 3.040 Egyptian pound a share.
3. The shares of El Kahera Housing (ELKA.CA) jumped by 12.57 per cent, to the purchasing price of 1.970 Egyptian pound a share.
Top losers on Wednesday
1. The shares of Rakta Paper Manufacturing (RAKT.CA) fell by 5.00 per cent, to close at 24.130 Egyptian pound a share.
2. The shares of ELSWEDY ELECTRIC (SWDY.CA) declined by 4.42 per cent, to close at 59.750 Egyptian pound a share.
3. The shares of Alexandria Containers and Goods (ALCN.CA) dropped by 3.92 per cent, to close at the price of 45.060 Egyptian pound a share.
