Bank of Russia sells yuan worth $80.45m

The Bank of Russia sold yuan worth 7.2 billion roubles ($80.45 million) on the domestic market on August 16, 2024, according to the regulator's data. This followed a previous forex sale of 7.3 billion rubles on August 15.
The central bank's operations, involving the purchase and sale of yuan against roubles, are conducted on the Moscow Exchange's currency section. These transactions are scheduled from August 7 to September 5, 2024.
