Egypt's CBE offers EGP 75b in T-bills

The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) offered 75 billion Egyptian pounds in treasury bills (T-bills) on Wednesday, in coordination with the Ministry of Finance.
The auction shall be in two tranches: 35 billion pounds for 182-day to be maturated on 31/12/2024, and 40 billion pounds for 364-day to be maturated on 01/07/2025, as per the statement.
Treasury bills are short-term government debt instruments with maturities ranging from three months to a year.
